Scholarships- High School

The San Rafael Elks Lodge provides between 8 and 14 Lodge-level scholarships to graduating high school seniors in Marin County each year.  Each of our Lodge-level scholarship awards is between $500 and $3,000.

The three top-scoring girls and three top-scoring boys at the Lodge level will advance to the District Level of the competition.  The three top-scoring girls and three top-scoring boys at the District level will advance to the State Level.  A select number of State-level winners will advance to the National competition.  500 four-year scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $12,500 per year are awarded at the National level.

Helpful Tip:  The most common reasons students are disqualified from the competition are incomplete applications or documentation, missing test scores or transcripts, or assembling the submission folder in the incorrect order.  Please follow the directions carefully to avoid these mistakes!
