**The Camarena Award is named after Enrique Camarena, an 11-year DEA Special Agent, who was kidnapped, tortured and killed because he successfully investigated one of the largest drug trafficking cartels in Mexico. Each year ALL ELKS LODGES honor his memory with Red Ribbon Week by recognizing an outstanding Law Enforcement person in their community who works to protect youth, parents and others from illicit drugs, dangerous use and addiction.
