The Purple Pig is the nickname for the California-Hawaii Elks Major Project, Inc. (CHEMPI) — also known as the “Piggy Bank” program.

  • Elks and their families drop spare change into little purple piggy banks.
  • The money goes directly to fund therapies and screenings for children with disabilities (occupational, physical, vision and speech therapy) at no cost to their families.
  • It’s a long-standing tradition in California and Hawaii Elks Lodges, started in the Great Northwest District
